Bree walked down the stairs of the large house she and Jared shared. She took a breath, not used to breathing after the few years without breath. She looked aorund and nodded before waving her arms.
"Jared! I'll drive myself to school today, meet you there!" She yelled, allowing the sound to echo across the mansion.
Her topaz eyes glittered as she ran out of the door. Shutting it silently behind her and running into the garage. A smile crossed her face as her car came to view. Of course it wasn't too fast, but it was cute. She walked to the sky blue Volkswagen-New-Beetle-Convertible. Bree opened the car’s door and gracefully slid into the seat. After starting the car, she backed out and began to drive towards the forest engroved School. She kept the top of her car up, not allowing the rain to come in. She sped down the road, always driving faster then humanly normal. Turning quickly into school she sat in the parking lot. A small sigh escaped her vocals as she leaned back into her seat. Closing her eyes gently she sat in the car silently, enjoying the rain’s rhythmic sound.

Lance was walking on the side of the road, wearing a black sweater jacket unzipped, He was listening to his Ipod the song he was listening too was In the Shadows, hood on his head and carrying his binder. He did not really care for the rain that much since it actually pleased him. He saw the school in site, and slowed down. He didn't want to get there so fast. Then a car splashed him with water. He didn't bother to shake himself off and kept walking towards his destination.

A sapphire sports car pulled up next to her. The engine purred lightly as eyes glanced toward the tinted windows. He could see Bree clearly even through the dark tinting. A smirk crossed his lips as he reached into his jean pocket pulling out an onyx razor cell phone.
He leaned against the leather seats as his free hand began to pull a bit toward the collar of his button-up white shirt. His black coat was laying on the seat as if he didn't even need it to get into his car. The fact was he didn't. He just dodged every drop.
His hand flipped open the razor quickly yet careful not to break it with his strength as he clicked his sister's cell phone number. He waited for her to answer it as he turned down the new age music that was playing in his car. [/size]

Bree glanced down at her phone, having read Jared's mind a few moments ago. She gently picked up the pink flowered cell phone, allowing it to ring on for a few moments. Humming lightly to the ring's tune before flipping the phone open.
"Good morning, Jared." She spoke softly into the phone.
Her topaz eyes glanced over towards his car, as she leaned back against her leather seats. The dark interior seemed comforting in these rainy moments. She looked up to the roof of her car, tracing the few seams with one finger.

Jared smirked a bit as he spoke softly, "Is someone in a bad mood on such a beautiful morning?"
He wasn't really mocking her, but truthfully he enjoyed this rainy town. He didn't love roaming about in the sun's rays and causing thousands of people to gawk at him. That was annoying, more annoying than having to deal with people at the school, but none the less he had to attend.
"Come on. Try smiling, it'll brighten the world." His words came out sweetly in a mocking tone. He held the chuckle within his throat even though it was so natural for him to just laugh out loud about something he happened to have done.
His free hand turned up the heater as he looked toward the office doors. He then closed his eyes for a moment as if thinking about something, or seeing something.

Bree sighed deeply letting Jared's words ring in her ears for a few moments. She flashed a sweet mile before speaking back softly.
"I'm not in a bad mood Jared. Just a bit irritated, but I can look happy for today. Give the humans something to gawk at...."
A smirk slipped onto her features as she leaned farther down in her seat. The heat was on high, yet her skin was always icy to the touch. Her topaz eyes looked out the window, watching the rain pour down on the sidewalk ahead.
Her hair fell neatly on her back, tamed with a loose ponytail from rushing this morning. She wanted to come early and watch the rain before the other hundreds of students came. She continued to trace the seams of her car's convertible top, with a small smile still present on her face.

Jared glanced toward the dark windows of his car then out toward the rain washing over his windshield. He smirked a bit then spoke,"Yes, something to gawk at besides your lovely skin in the sun."
He was trying to be romantic, but he doubted romance worked on a girl like Bree. He saw her as someone more closed and someone who didn't go for charm or style. Maybe, she was more for what's inside or something like that, he didn't really know, but he wanted to know. Sometimes he wished that he had Bree's talent instead of his own. Seeing glimpses of the future wasn't all that entertaining, it was sometimes annoying.

Bree rolled her eyes and looked up at the ceiling of her sky hued car. Romance normally had little effect on Bree, and still the same rule passed. She breathed lightly into the phone and let a smirk slip onto her flawless face.
"You should know that doesn't work on me by now. It takes more then words, especially from a phone in another car."
Her fingers flew with lightning speed on the keypad, making the beeping sounds in the tune of "Mary Had a Little Lamb". She was oddly bored and knew this normally annoyed most vampires she had spoken too before. The ones in Alaska nearly chased her into the penguin flock for playing the tune. She chuckled happily as the memory planned back in her mind. Her laughing ringing like lovely church bells tolling in the setting sun.

Jared had closed the phone once she started playing that unattractive tune. He was now standing outside of her window with a smug grin and starting to play with the lock on her passenger side door as if ready to break the door.
Open the door Bree before I let myself in.
He thought clearly knowing she could hear him as he stood in the rain with the jacket over his clothes and the hood over his head. His beauty was still remarkable even in the rain, however, the hood hid most of his traits as he smiled toward Bree within the car. He could see her perfectly even from behind the tint.

Bree smirked after hearing his thoughts and looked to her passenger door. A frown crossed her face as she leaned across the car and opened the door for him. Her topaz eyes were bright, signaling she had hunted recently.
"Happy now? Can you get in before the rain soaks my poor car?"
She was slightly irritated by now, wondering what had made him come to her car. She sat up in her seat and turned the heat down a small amount. The light jacket wrapped around her bare shoulders kept her warm enough, normally not even needing a jacket. Yet, most humans weren't able to stand in rain without catching a cold or freezing. Why not play along?

Jared was in the car as soon as she had opened it with his jacket sitting on the mat at his feet. He glanced toward her closing the door quickly and smirking.
"So you were saying charm like mine doesn't work over the phone, correct?" His voice was unexplainable with one word. It was sweet, yet as he leaned across the invisible line between the seats, his voice became more seductive as if he were testing her. "So what about now?" His icy blue eyes were bright as well from his hunting from the day before yesterday.
He had lost track of everything around them and now it was just about pushing poor unfortunate Bree's buttons until she screamed at him that they were pretending to be brother and sister.
Jared was suddenly glad that humans couldn't see through the dark tint of her windows as he smiled leaning even closer.

Bree's cheeks instantly turned a light shade of pink. Her normally lovely pale skin had been cursed with Jared's charm. She looked at him with unreadable eyes, instantly knowing what to react with. Her tone instantly came out seductively as she leaned close, closing the space.
"Of course that charm couldn't work over the phone. One would have to be as you are now." She quickly changed her tone, letting it out with a few hisses. "Jared! What do you think you are trying to do? We are supposed to be in a blood related set-up. Brother and sister! Not like this, especially in public!"
She began to hear the many thoughts enter her head as other students began to arrive. Many letting happy squeals out that the Salem's were here. Bree sighed and turned away from Jared, her bright eyes now looking out the tinted window.

Jared leaned back against the door letting a soft sigh pass his lips as he spoke in a even more appealing voice, "And I was so ready for that kiss that you put in my head, I know you were thinking of it too." His icy eyes glanced back to her turning away.
Then his body moved across the line once more as he put his hand on her shoulder whispering in her ear playfully,"Remember humans can't see through tinted windows, so we can do anything." He knew how female minds worked, but Bree's reactions always made him chuckle.
My dearest Bree, if only I thought about my moves before I made them, correct? He thought clearly for her to once again hear, However, what fun would it be to know my every move?
It was hard to ignore someone similar to a God, who knew parts of the future once you chose what to do. Especially if his eyes were so rare for vampires, who normally had topaz or ruby eyes, when his were the beautiful icy blue that you could get lost within.
Then his hair looked perfectly amazing, with it's softness and parts that sometimes fell gently over his eyes, but often falling just right around his face to show off his eyes.
His skin was unlike most vampires unlike solid stone, it was sometimes softer if he had just hunted like right now, his touch was soft.
Then his voice, his voice was the best thing about him. The icy breath he had was like the coolness after chewing Winterfresh gum for hours. His voice was often very seductive, yet attractive. His choice of words were enjoyable in feminine ears.
Perfection in a box, you say? No. Jared Hoffman..or Salem had his flaws. Once a month, he would disappear to "camp" and leave the girls to cry about his absence, and sometimes even still his sweet sister away to "camp" as well in the mountains with lions. He was sometimes even absent minded with dates, but turned those into sweet jokes.

Shivers were sent down Bree's bodice as she lightly looked at him. If she was human her breathing would have stopped, too bad it was already gone. The blush became darker, now a deep red color. She quickly shrugged his hand off her shoulder and turned to face him. The voices outside became louder, their thoughts and voices combining. She could already see the humans walking to school, oblivious of the so called brother and sister.
"Are you simply trying to get me to kiss you? I understand no one can see us, and have already put that aside." Her tone was soft but held a tint of love. She searched through his mind only to find nothing. He must have known she was going to look for thoughts. A soft sigh exited her lips as she leaned in, letting their foreheads touch gently.
"Are you happy yet, Jared? What more are you simply wanting from me? Her words seemed to hang in the air for a brief moment. Her topaz eyes looked into his own icy ones, a soft smirk sliding onto her lips.

"I don't know what I want anymore Bree, even after having a century to search for it. It's hard to find what I truly want." His words were honest, yet used in the form of a joke for once as a smile touched his lips. Her question bounced back at her,"What do you want from me, Bree?"
His icy blue eyes looked into her liquid topaz ones as he smiled at her. "If we weren't pretending, over one hundred boys in this school would plot to kill me and learn the secret, because they would believe we were a couple." Jared's eyes changed slightly as he spoke. They had closed slightly from the widened look from before as he joked sarcastically.
"However, we need to start planning for the invitation you're getting from some football players today to a Halloween party. Do you want to go? One of those cheerleaders, will ask me to come as well in third period today, so I need to know before hand." He spoke changing the subject for her.
