[glow=black,2,300]Vinny rushed into the infirmary, Konoka still tucked into his arms. He smiled down at Konoka for one moment. She looked asleep. "Hey...we need a doctor to come check this girl out." Vinny whispered walking toward the main desk and getting her checked in.[/glow]
"Yes sir, we will help her as soon as a doctor is open." The woman said hardly giving him a passing glance.
[glow=black,2,300]"NO! I won't take that...look at her!" He yelled gently turning Konoka in his arms. Her face was now positioned in toward his chest.[/glow]
"Y...yes sir...right away." The woman said running to the end of the hallway. She then ran back and was accompanied by a few doctors with a stretcher.
[glow=black,2,300]Vinny laid Konoka on the makeshift bed. His smile wasn't really a smile of happiness, more of concern.
He followed the doctors into the room watching them work on Konoka's back and sealing the holes with chakra.[/glow]

(( She did just get back from a war. I described all of the wounds already, but I'll describe them again. ^^ ))
She laid on the makeshift bed. Blood dripped from her lips from the internal wounds. She had the holes in her back from where the spikes had hit. Cuts had been scattered across her body ripping her clothing in various places. Her hair was ragged and holding some blood from the wire that had cut across her throat.
Konoka had let the wounds drag her down with her loss of strength when she healed Vincent. Her eyes didn't open even though she laid in a place of which she hated with a burning passion. Hospitals scared her as much as the thoughts that plagued her mind.
"Where are you!?" I called running toward the darkness. I couldn't help but run because I had heard the voice. A gentle yet childish voice. It was his voice. The voice that had followed my mind forever. She dreamed and continued dreaming. |

[glow=black,2,300]"So...what's up? Is she gonna be alright?" Vinny asked one of the doctors as she was flipped over again for them to heal the front side of her body.[/glow]
"Well...we can stop the bleeding, but for precautions, she will have to stay over here tonight." The doctor said making a gesture toward the bed.
[glow=black,2,300]"Well, I guess I'm staying too then." Vinny relplied sitting in a chair in a waiting position.[/glow]
"Sir...you c..." The man was stopped by Vinny's look.
[glow=black,2,300]"Oh yes I can and will, if anyone is going to stay, its me." Vinny retailiated with an angry stare in his eyes. [/glow]

Konoka moved her hand toward him as she moved toward the voice in her dream. She reached for him out of an impulse rather than of pure devotion to her mental actions. No, he body wanted him to take her hand to let her mind know she wasn't alone.
Her lips parted for a moment as she whispered just as she did once more in her dream, "I can't find you--where are you?" Her voice was but a soft whisper in the real world while in her dream it was an echoing call of desperation. She was craving salvation instead this craving was forcing her deeper into the darkness following the silent whispers of a promised love. A promised lover.
The woman felt as if her heart were already trying to sever her new feelings. It hurt deep within her chest, but was that pain from her wounds or what her mind thought of it. No, she was trying to break away from feelings that were now arising within her. She felt the healing slowly curing everything but her mind, and will to stay far from the man inches from her while her body wanted to reach to him for salvation.
Vincent was her salvation from the Hell she had created.
"Stop Running From Me!" She screamed into the everlasting darkness. She continued blindly racing toward the whispers that passed the male's lips as he hurried away from her. She didn't stop running even as she felt her whole body tremble at the thoughts that wouldn't hold her back.
"Don't Leave Me Alone Again!" She cried as she tripped over something in the darkness. Her eyes filled with tears as they poured down her flushed cheeks. She began to lift herself from the mist filling what seemed to be the bottom of the darkness, she had been running through. She noticed that he had stopped.
"Leave you alone? You think that's what I am doing, Konoka?" The male asked as he turned slowly toward her and walked forward kneeling before her. His hand gently touched against her cheek brushing away her tears and banishing her fears.
"You'll stay." She asked looking at him with a smile, but the smile faded as he spoke softly to her. "I'm listening to you, alright." He said standing and backing away. "What?" She asked standing too in confusion. He frowned and spoke, "You've been telling me to leave you and now you're asking me to stay. Konoka, I don't understand what you want? I hear two separate voices. Two separate paths you wish to take. You're heart is telling me to stay, but you want me to go."
Her lip trembled as she stood suddenly feeling the cold swirl around her fragile form. Her hand reached toward him and grasp his as she spoke, "My heart. I want to listen to my heart." He looked at her puzzled and yelled as the wind began to pull him into the air, "Which path!" She looked at him gripping her other hand around his. "My heart!" She screamed in fear and confusion. Tears streamed down her face as she tried to keep him with her. The voice within her mind spoke to them both, "She doesn't want you. She would rather sever your bond now before she lets herself love you."
The boy's face broke into sorrow as he reached his other hand down speaking softly, but even though the wind had drowned her voice to him. His voice wasn't lost in the wind. "I hope you're happy with your choice." He whispered pulling her hands from his and disappearing into the darkness leaving her alone. Alone forever. That was her dream.

[glow=black,2,300]Vinny looked to her face with a look of deep concern, his instincts said to try and make an attempt at comfort, but his thoughts told him to wait, he sat for a few seconds only to jump and say, "Get out...everyone...I would like to talk with Konoka." He walked toward the bed and laid his hand on her forehead, cold, like in the forest. Vinny's face lit up in horror as he did nothing but stare. He couldn't do anything, his body had frozen in fear, he wasn't going to lose her, but what could he do? It seemed as if his mind had been unplugged and all he could do was stand like a lifeless doll. He looked down at Konoka again and whispered, "Please...please stay around, I don't know what would happen if you didn't stay.[/glow] |

"Why wouldn't I stay?" Her voice asked as she turned her head looking at him with her large aqua eyes. Her deep black hair flowed over the pillow free from it's natural twin ponytails. The texture had a slight shine to it as well as waves. She reached a shaking hand upward to push her bangs back for a moment as she took a moment to regain her composer.
"It's midnight, isn't it? I've been asleep for over three hours, haven't I?" She asked these questions as she calmed herself from the dream that had seemed as real as the man standing before her. Her eyes shifted looking at him as if through him as she spoke gently, "Did I startle you?" A smile crossed her lips with the calm words exiting them.
Her body lifted from the bedding as she realized she was sweating from the dream and sleeping in her long sleeves. Her cheeks flushed as she felt the air conditioning pass through the slits covering her clothes. She looked over at him with a troubled gaze. "Umm," She started shyly, "Could you tell me where I can wash off? I smell like blood and look like Hell." |

[glow=black,2,300]"Konoka! Your ok!" Vinny exclaimed grasping Konoka in his arms. His tears became joyous as he held onto her with force as if saying "I'm never ever gonna let go again." "Oh, sorry, heh I guess I got a little carried away." He grinned letting go of her and sighing. "Anyway the bathroom's down the hall, you need me to help you over there?" He said putting his arm around her back with a thank-you-like smile on his face.[/glow]
